Hello Sweeties,

Pascale here with a new layout with a fall feeling. We had a photo contest in my town about Vine and Vineyard. The organizers ask my association to participate with our layouts as guests. This is one of the layout I made for this exposition.

I cut different papers in tiny pieces. I glued them on the background and covered the collage with a thin layer of Gesso. When dry, I started to add some colors with spray inks and Twinkling H2O. I added also some heavy Gesso with a stencil. I finished with some random stamping with two colors of permanent ink.

I die-cut the leaves in the Sunny Side paper from the Nyhavn collection and I added a bit of color with Original Rust and a green Twinkling H2O.

I colored the little die-cut with black Gesso and one of the color I used to color the background.

I have misted the papers with water before I crumpled them and inked them. It help to give a vintage look to them.

Hello, I'm Pascale B. from France. Since I began to scrap, flowers are part of my layouts, and I gradually started to use mixed media as well. I don’t know how to define my style, perhaps something like free vintage shabby style could be a good definition. Visit me at www.pbhobby.blogspot.com

That is a fantastic layout. What an opportunity to be able to scrap for that contest. The photo is so beautiful and I love how the layout harmonize with it. Another fantastic piece of art.
