Now, it’s time to welcome our new Maja Team Member – Silje Kristin Aunan.

Silje-Kristin

Silje is a really talented artist who specializes in altered projects. We are totally in love with her style and her wonderful and daring way to handle Maja papers.

Hello everyone 🙂
My name is Silje Kristin Aunan, I live in the north of Norway, in a town called Bodø. Here I live in a House with 2 girlfriends. I have my own crafting room with a bed 😉 I like to fish, be outside in the forest or on the top of mountains. I love a good book, take photos and I like to bake. But my true passion is Scrapbooking. 😀
I discovered scrapbooking in November 2013 and it changed my life.
It all began with a few Christmas cards and tags, made with Maja paper.
3D projects and special boxes soon became my favorite, I just love creating special new unusual projects. I feel an urge to create things that have never been done before. It makes me excited and time flies by so fast. It is like time does not exist while I am in the zone of creating ♥
From childhood I have always been very creative. I even studied pastry/cakes where I also could use my creativity.
I get inspired by things that surround me, nature, situations, feeling, weather; or ideas just pop up in to my head.
I prefer to create something unique. Pushing my own boundaries. So therefore I challenge myself to make “impossible” paper creations. “Nothing is impossible” is my mantra.
I love to  use many different variations of paper, the more layers the merrier! Many details such as ribbons, charms, bling and lots of paper flowers. I can make projects simple but still detailed. My favorite is large detailed projects, and my style is mainly shabby chic/vintage.
And that is why the Maja Design paper is a favorite. I just love the papers, and what I can do with them, when I create my projects.
I hope I can inspire you all to tray things you never have done before, becuse I love to inspire crafters, and why not do it with lovely Maja Design Paper ♥

A warm welcome to the Maja Family, Silje..!
You can enjoy her first post at the blog on September 6th.
