Happy Monday!! It’s Marilyn here to share with you a new page using some Maja Design collections:  Vintage Spring Basics, Vintage Summer Basics,  Vintage Autumn Basics and Walking in the Forest collections.  Here in North Carolina everything around is turning green and blooming, it looks very pretty, so I continue inspired for spring pages and here is my page.DSC_5935 copy

My kids make me laugh…I said “cheese” and they put this funny face at the same time, lol. Every time I saw the photo I start to laugh and I have to make a page with it.DSC_5935 copy-2

I made fussy cutting(clocks) from the paper No. XVI – Vintage Autumn Basics.DSC_5931 copy

I added textures with molding paste, gesso and acrylic paint in my background.DSC_5935 copy-1

The small flowers are handmade with the 5th of April paper.DSC_5930 copy

To create dimension I draped the paper and to add more textures I used different elements.DSC_5935 copy-3

Supplies: Vintage Autumn Basics: No.XXII, No.XVI, Vintage Spring Basics:4th of April, Vintage Summer Basics:1904 paper, Walking in the Forest: The color of fall paper. Martha Steward border punch, Liquitex-gesso, Ranger-distress ink, molding paste

Until next timeMarilyn-sign

LOL, I had to laugh. At first I thought it was a young couple which made it even funnier with the sentiment. Then I saw that it was your kids. Still funny, but not quite as funny as a young married couple.

The layout is beautiful. Love the layers, color and texture you created. Wonderful embellishment clusters too. LOL. Now I am going to look at the picture again and pretend they are a married couple. LOL
