Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to our blog!
Today I am going to celebrate with you 🙂 And therefore I have some birthday cards:
And what better collection to use for such festive cards than our own Celebration? 🙂 I mixed papers from the regular and small pads.
The first card features a sweet cupcake:
I layered purple and beige papers and used the rich dark brown floral paper for the background, matting the die-cut cupcake with a contrasting sand Monochrome sheet. I added matching polka dot ribbon and a metal charm in the shape of a teapot. Here’s the birthday tea party 🙂
The stamped sentiment says in Polish: A lot of happiness and sweetness. How fitting!
For the second card I used a dreamcatcher motif:
For this card I selected the blue papers of the collection and composed the dreamcatcher combining a doily and feather dies:
I also added vintage ribbon and a button and finished off the design with gem stones, pearls and glitter:
I made the third card to…well, use up the leftovers 😉
I used the tiniest bits to punch the doily border and die-cut the banners. Then I used larger pieces to make the background:
The patterned papers make the beauty of the card, so other decorative elements include only flowers, pearl border and some delicate stamping:
Here’s the list of my supplies:
Maja Design papers:
Other: dies: Marianne Design, X-cut; punch: Martha Stewart; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; stamps: Lemonade, the ScrapBerry’s; bling, pearls: Creative Expressions; glitter: Ranger, Nuvo.
That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!

3 very beautiful cards here, and especially the dream catcher motif I really love, but I also always love it, when I can get something beautiful out of all the small leftover pieces, and you sure did that too here. All of them are sooo beautiful and well made, and anyone would just love to recieve a card like this for their birthday, that´s for sure.
