Miles Apart Wedding Card

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

As you can easily tell by the titlte, I bring you a wedding card today that I made using the latest Maja release, the Miles Apart collection:

You most definitely know that Miles Apart papers feature some beautiful and romantic flower patterns that are just perfect for occasions like a wedding. But this time instead of putting those gorgeous flowers in the card background, I took inspiration from them and tried to recreate the bouquet ON the card. And so I chose delicate light papers for the background and added a flower cluster that imitates the patterned papers:

To the rose bouquet I added die-cut leaves, crystal gems and some chipboard ornaments. Vintage ribbon and enamel dots complete the design:

Just look how nicely dimensional it turned out!

…which means it needed a box too 🙂 I decorated it with washi tape with rose pattern – a perfect match!

What do you think? I must say I’m quite satisfied 🙂

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Magnolia; flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts; ribbon: Na Strychu; chipboard: Scrapiniec, Wycinanka.pl; gems: my stash.

See you soon!

  • And you sure have all reasons to be, as it´s absolut stunning work as usual. That cluster of gorgeous flowers are amazing and so sooo beautiful, and works sooo perfect with all the other embellisments too and give it an amazing dimension to it, and it looks fabulous in the decorative box. Whoever gets this are definitely in for a real treat here, that´s for sure. I sooooooo LOVE both the card and the box
Have a wonderful day everyone and stay safe.
