It’s been a long nice summer with lots of scrapping. For some reason I always scrap the most during hot summers. A bit odd maybe, but that’s the way it is. Today I’m going to share  some of my creations that has come to life during the summer. First a new layout with my precious Joel…
I absolutely adore the blues of the Coffee In The Arbour collection. They are lovely. I have used Enjoying The Moment, Butterflies Are Free, Blueberry Cupcake, Lovely Weather, White Daisies, Smell of Freshly Brewed Coffee and Delicious Moments for this layout.joel_All chipboard are from Scrap FX. The white lace comes from my mother’s huge 16th century chest filled with fabric. It’s a goldmine! Bird by Tim Holtz, flowers from Petaloo, Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. Bling from Prima, all dies used are from Spellbinders.
joel2The white frame is a Prima resin.

When people ask me how I take my coffee my usual response is “intravenously”. There’s simply no such thing as out of coffee in my house. I can’t even remember that I’ve ever ran out of it since I moved out from my parents house. :) This delightful beverage is not to take lightly…

When the new Coffee In The Arbour collection was released it was a continuation of the beloved Fika series. I discovered that I couldn’t create anything with the new collection without dragging out the old one. So here’s a little tribute card to my favourite brown papers of the Fika collection…kaffe

The card was made as a little funny reminder to a friend who claims he will show up for coffee but never does… :)

I have used Nestabilities and Sizzix dies for the frame and swirls. Flowers, pearls and leaves by Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts. kaffe3And here’s what the inside looks like.

A friend of mine gave birth to her third child in late July and I made her this card…amandaI’ve used the Coffee In The Arbour collection…amanda2The small alpha pearls were found in a bargain bin on Michael’s a couple of years ago. Flower, ribbon and leaves by Magnolia and Wild Orchid Crafts. The little frame has been cut out from a Melissa Frances package, using a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die. Chipboard by Scrap FX, bowknot and metal heart from LSS.amanda3Here’s a glimpse of the inside. Aren’t these papers to die for? Pure love. I’ve used a Martha Stewart deep edge punch for the border and cut out the heart by hand.

Here’s a very feminine birthday card that I made for my mil…lenaI’ve used the Vintage Summer Basics collection by Maja Design. lena2All flowers, doily and ribbon from Wild Orchid Crafts.lena3And a look on the inside…The border is actually made with a paper scrap from the Coffee In The Arbour collection…

I don’t remember creating that many cards in such a short period of time in years. So here comes another one. A bit of a cheerful one, made with the Coffee In The Arbour collection.britt1I’ve used Nestabilities dies for the frame. Flowers are a mixture of Prima, Magnolia and Wild Orchid Crafts. The seam binding has been coloured with Distress Stain Bundled Sage.britt2And a little close up…britt3And a look on the inside.

And finally. A little boy birthday card for cute Anton that turned two this week. antonI’ve used the Vintage Spring Basics collection and some Fika for the front page…anton2Flowers, doily, trim and leaves from Wild Orchid Crafts. The pearls are from my neverending roll of pearls that I bought on the wedding department at Michael’s a couple of years ago.anton3Ups. Some Vintage Summer Basics and Coffee In The Arbour also found it’s way into this card.

I hope you got inspired. Until next time!
