Hello Sweeties,
Today I’m on Maja Design blog with another family photo. It’s my paternal grandfather Nicolas Joseph. This photo has been taken during his military service in the Air Force.
I began my layout by adding some clear gesso on my background to help the Brusho I choice to work with to react properly. When dry, I added a design with a stencil and some modeling paste. When dry, I added some random stamping.
I die-cut the gears in a cardboard that I painted first with white gesso, then with an uneven and very light layer of black gesso. When dry, I used some Original Rust to give them the aspect of rust.
I used some Walnut Stain Distress ink to alter the flowers.
I die-cut the leaves in two assorted papers from the Vintage Autumn Basics collection.
