Hi all! Ingrid here today with another Maja creation.
Made this photo frame as a birthday gift for my oldest daughter, Tessa.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I thought this was a lovely project to share with you today!
Photo is a vacation photo of her with her boyfriend, Tom.
Included their initials, T&T, into this project too.
Made this frame with the Vintage Spring Basics collection. The blank wooden frame got a base coat with gesso first. The window frames were blue already, but also got a layer of gesso to match the papers. Cut the frame with the 8th of March and the inside with the 4th of April. All of the flowers were made with this collection also. Put them in a bed of lace, tulle and small wooden beads. Used the Spellbinders, Shapeabilities die by Donna Salazar to create them. Distressed the outside of the flowers with a distressing tool.
The lacy border at the top was punched with a Martha Stewart punch and lightly inked. All of the stripes at the bottom of the papers are perfect for some lovely sentiments. Just love to use them! The *days to remember* piece comes from the 5th of March.
The *Enjoy* piece is from the 6th of March. This piece could be on any project as I really enjoy playing with these gorgeous papers!!!
Papers used: 5th of March, 6th of March, 8th of March and 4th Of April.
Other products used: chipboard from Imaginarium Designs, Spellbinders die, gesso, lace, beads, twigs from 13Arts and tulle.
