Hello there Maja friends!! This is my last project as guest for April and I really want to thank Jenny and the team for having me. It’s been an absolutely awesome month and I will be back here on a daily basis to see the gorgeous projects from the very talented creative team. The little treasure in the photo is my little niece Isabella and my heart aches every time I look at her pictures and I miss her so much and it’s definitely time to plan another trip to Australia quite soon. I wanted to make a bright, happy page and the “Life in the country” collection was perfect for what I had in mind.
I dabbed some white acrylic paint on the chippies, waited for it to dry and then added some Crackle accents and when that dried I just rubbed a little ink into the cracks. The stamp is from “Elise’s Huis” and the rub-on is one I’ve had in my stash since Pa fell off the bus.
Here I gave the chippie the same treatment and the cherry blossom stamp you see peeking out there is also from “Elise’s Huis” and I just coloured it in with some watercolour pencils.
These are the papers I used:
Maja design: Life in The Country Collection
Maja Design: Kitchen Garden
Maja Design: Strawberries With Ice
Maja Design: Sowing Seeds BS
Maja Design: In My Flower Bed
And last but not least, don’t forget to pop in again soon as besides having the gorgeous creations of the Creative Team to look forward to, you will also have the added bonus of seeing some of Heidi Kelley’s beautiful projects as she will be joining the Maja Team as Guest for May.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!!
