Good morning Maja fans,
Today I’d like to show you a layout I made with the pretty “Vintage Summer Basics” collection. In 2012 I got married to the love of my life Jeroen the picture I used is one of my wonderful wedding day. We didn’t have time to take a lot of pictures what sometimes sadness me, but the ones I have I use very often.
For this layout I used my doily punch to create the edges around my page. First I took the 1936 sheet and cut out the middle that’s what I always do when I plan to use spray’s & embossing powders. Then I take a sheet of any heavy & thick card stock I have to add to the piece I cut out. The piece of patterned paper I cut out I use as layers on my page.
I love to use chipboard on my layouts so here I used a bunch of them and I layered them on top of each other. The clocks from the “Vintage Autumn Basics” collection are such a nice touch on every layout you create.
For me this is a very simple layout because it normally takes about five to six hours to create one single page this one took just three. To keep it simple I didn’t use a lot of colors just some aqua’s & green’s.
On this layout I did a lot of stamping too which is so much fun. I was always scarred of stamping on my pages but something just chanced when I just thought it’s doesn’t have to be clean stamps just think messy { that worked for me 😉 }
Papers used: 1934, 1934 bs, 1935, 1936 & 1899 bs
Paper used: no. XVI {the clock sheet}
Thank you so much for your visit today. Have a lovely & creative day 🙂
Love
