Hello Maja Design fans and friends!  Nancy Hanttula here, back again to share some of my latest creations.  This week I am sharing some Christmas cards I created.  ALL of the paper used for these cards was from the gorgeous new Vintage Frost Basics paper collection.

Everything about this paper collection is exquisite perfection, and I absolutely love how all of the Basics paper collections compliment each other and can be so easily mixed and matched.   AND after seeing all the beautiful Christmas cards created by our very own creative team here at Maja Design, I was so inspired that I set out on my own Christmas card creating extravaganza!

I don’t know about you, but as a paper crafter, it seems that my family and friends somewhat EXPECT a handmade Christmas card.    The best thing about the Vintage Frost Basics collection is the beautiful prints and patterns, colors, & designs.  The papers make it easy to create.

Papers used for this card included:  3rd of December, bs of 4th of December, & 10th of December.  Other supplies used here:  Tombow permanent adhesive, EK Success scalloped border punch, Prima bling, reindeer chipboard from Tattered Angels, tinsel ribbon, brad & bling flowers from my stash.  Card base shape and scroll design cut from my Cricut using Fontopia.

The next card was also created using with my Cricut, using the Fontopia cartridge.

Vintage Frost Basics papers used for this card included:  bs of 22nd of December, bs of 3rd of December, Christmas diecuts, bs of 3rd of December, 1st of December, & bs of 10th of December.

Other supplies used for this card included:  LYB chipboard snowflake, Prima flowers, silver stickles, ribbon, buttons, & stick pin from my stash, EK Success scalloped circle punch, and white Pearl pen.

To create the above card, I used my Cricut using the Creative Cards cartridge.  Vintage Frost Basics papers used for this card included:  bs of 10th of December, front & bs of 3rd of December, 5th of December, Christmas Diecuts, & 8th of December.

Other supplies used for this card included:  Jaylynn embroidery floss, Prima flower, stick pin, buttons, and ribbon from my stash.

 To create the card above, I once again used my cricut cartridge, Fontopia.  Vintage Frost Basics papers used for this card included:  bs of 22nd of December, bs and front of Christmas Diecuts, & 1st of December.

Other supplies used for this card included:  Poinsettia from Michael’s Recollection collection, bling from Martha Stewart, Stickles, Jaylynn embroidery floss, and EK Success scalloped circles.

And now for the next card:

To make the above card, I used my Cricut Ornamental Iron 2 cartridge.  Vintage Frost Basics papers used included:  bs of 4th of December, & front and back of 9th of December.

Other supplies used to create the above card included:  stickles, stickers from the Girls Paperie, poinsettia from Michaels’ Recollection collection, EK Success scallop border punch, & lace, bling, and adhesive pearl dot from my stash.

I created the above card using my Creative Cards Cricut cartridge.  Try saying that 5 times fast!  Vintage Frost Basics papers used for this included:  bs of 9th of December, front and back sides of 3rd of December, Christmas Diecuts, front and back sides of 10th of December, bs of 22nd of December, & bs of 4th of December.

Other supplies used for my last card included:  Prima flowers, EK Success scalloped border punch, Jaylynn embroidery floss, Snow Tex textural paste, Tim Holtz chipboard piece, & buttons from my stash.

And there you have it.  I have made six cards using the amazing new Vintage Frost Basics collection.  Of course, I have a ton more cards to make this Holiday season….but I’m ready!
