Goodmorning amazing Maja fans,
Finally summer is kicking in here in The Netherlands with temperatures above 25 degrees and I really love the hot weather. Two nights back it was really nice outside without any wind so we send a wishing balloon up in the sky for our loved ones that are no longer among us {and this time it finally worked} We did it before but they always got on fire while going up into the sky and one time it fell into the water 🙂For this layout I used the “Vintage Summer Basics” collection. I made all the flowers myself {except for the ones without the pearl centers} for me that is therapeutic and so much fun to do. Let’s have a closer look:First I took one sheet and cut 3,5 inches of it, then I took another sheet and placed the one I cut out on top of that to make it firm because of the pastes and stamps that I was going to use. As maybe some of you know I also design for Imaginarium Designs and all the chipboard I used are by them. I am a sucker for phrases so you will see me using those a lot with my precious Maja Papers. The jute where I made my flowers with come in two different colors for my flowers I used the darker one and they are available in in strips of 1,5 inch. The centers of my flowers are made of dies. Papers used: 1891, 1902, 1905, 1912 & 1915
I hope you enjoyed my post and now I am going to enjoy some nice summer weather. Thank you so much for your visit and if you could make a wish what would you wish for?
Have a wonderful and sunny day!
