Hello Maja friends! It’s Heidi blogging here today from a cold and snowy Norway. Do you miss the summer and the long, warm days? Today I have made a card that reminds me of the summer, using paper from Maja Designs collection Vintage Summer Basic.
I have sewn zigzag stitching with my sewing machine around the edges of the papers and added some white Gesso.
I have attached a piece of metal mesh on the paper before I’ve decorated with an old glossy picture of a parrot, a wooden bird cage I have painted brown and a lot of flowers and leaves.
Supplies:
Maya Design: Vintage Summer Basic 1905
white cardstock, metal mesh, woodenbird cage, old glossy picture of a parrot, flowers, leaves and twine.
Thanks for dropping by! Wish you all a wonderful, creative day!

It’s very cold here in the U.S. as well, although we are not having any snow right now. Your card is just lovely and makes us want to put on our cut-off jeans or jump in the pool!
This is really inspiring. 🙂 Very summer indeed.
