Hello, today is the twelve day of Christmas,& I am here to share with you,a Christmas project, using the beautiful photo carousel from Dusty Attic,& using lots of the Vintage Frost Basics Collection.
From the Vintage Frost Basics Collection I used: 1st of Dec,1st of Dec-BS,3rd of Dec,5th of Dec,5th of Dec-BS,6th of Dec,7th of Dec,8th of Dec,10th of Dec,13th of Dec,14th of Dec,20th of Dec,21st of Dec,22nd of Dec,Days of December-BS, & Christmas Die cut sheet
From the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection I used:No:III,heritage-BS,No:XIII,No: XIII-BS,No:X-BS
Dusty Attic used:photo carousel,All I want for Christmas,Christmas Tree #2,mini Christmas Tree,cobble stone panel,fancy letterbox,ornate gates med,pots & columns,vase,ATC frame #1,ATC frame #3,mini hearts,mini rocking chair,mini dress form,fancy trim #2,mini ornate gate,wrought iron fence boarder,mini wicker fence,woodland small,wagon wheels,doily#3,door handle plate,chicken wire panel,Decorative frame #1,& Wings #1
Other Products used: Prima mini roses,sunrise,sunset,silver,prima burlap trim,Tim Holtz Metal hinges,picket fence crackle,rock candy crackle,rock candy glitter,Prima resins,Ingvild Bolme,la Coeur,Faires,Martha Stewart Texture Effects,Prima stncil,gate,Tim Holtz Gem Clips,burlap string,seed beads….
Here are some closeups of detail…..
I did the same design on each of the photo spots, matching 2 photos together. I did some hand stitching & some distressed layers. I did stencil work under the ATC frame, using the prima gate stencil upside down. I left some of the chipboard raw & the rest I either used picket fence crackle,or texture effects…..
These turn, there is a scrapped photo behind this one,the photo carousel also turns….
The lattice part is solid, so it does not turn….
I just love all the die cuts from the die cut sheet,Oh, I just love the whole Vintage Frost Basics Collection…..
Now for the challenging part,it does not have to be challenging, but I made it so,by making this winter,Christmas theme on top. The hardest part is to make sure all sides look good,as there is no backside. So it really got filled in,. covering up spots
This is where I used the Vintage Autumn Basics Collection,on the presents & chairs. I put three trees together,so as you turn the carousel, you would have a good view of all sides….
The top of the carousel ends where you see the flourish,in between the mailbox & wintertime….
I made a stage to hold the trees, dress forms, rocking chairs & presents. For the stage I used a old round box,put a doily on top, then wrapped it with burlap trim, made burlap bows, added beads to the bows, then a tiny silver rose on the centers of the bows ….
I am having a GIVEAWAY with the BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE FROST BASICS COLLECTION on my blog! You can find my blog in the Creative Team section!
Thank you so much for taking the time to look & I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas & all the Best in the New Year………Rachelle
