Good Day to all Maja Design Fans and today I am so thrilled to share with you my first project as a DT member. I was looking through the collections and was hesitating what to choose in case to introduce myself to you in a more proper way. And finally I decided to use Crea Diem collection and showcase the monochrome tones.

and now I will explain why

 

this is a photo of me while I was pregnant, 2 weeks before my son was born. I wanted to maintain the calm mood and the waiting process with no stress or any fuss.

So I started with applying some gesso and pink paint on my background paper – Sann vänskap, added some stamping. After that I teared some stripes from Ord flyger bort-bs and Ord flyger bort papers and used Den oersättliga tiden – bs as a padding for my photo

and added a teared stripe from Känn dig själv paper and a cut clock

I added some embellishments that I suppose perfectly fit the mood and are symbolic for that period of time in my life.

and here you go with a simple layout featuring a sweet waiting.
