Hello Girls!!!I am here to share with you my first Design Team LO using the Beautiful Vintage Summer Basic Collection.I am thrilled to be asked to be on the Maja & even got more excited when I received my box of amazing, high quality, beautiful paper of all the collections, I was wowed!!!

Adorable

I used 1921,1909,1923,1911 & memories out of the Beautiful Vintage Summer Basics Collection.. The photo is a photo I took of my BF.s grand daughter, Kaylie, she really is adorable!!!!Here are some closeups of detail….

I made the flowers with using the same stamp that I used in the circle. For each flower I stamped 3 pieces of paper with gesso, then I cut the outside edges on the bottom part of the flower, then cut the petals & the center out of the other 2 flowers that I had stamped, glued the petals to the bottom (to get the layers)glued on the center, then glued beads to the center. Here are some more closeups of detail….

I just love the way Maja Design paper’s distress, the quality is amazing, here you see some layering,& under the photo is where I tucked in some off the cut outs from the memory sheet.

A3

I used Tim Holtz,On the edge Die,Distressed Doily under the Scrap Fx Wordlet, Adorable. I used liquid pearls (petal pink) & gesso on the wordlet.

A4

I did some punch work, stitching & lacing in this area. I love all the layers!!!!

A5

For the circle, I cut out 2 sizes of circles & 2 sizes of rings, distressed them then hand stitched them together, then I weaved in ribbon & weaved in beads with wire. I then stamped the center with gesso using the same stamp I used for the flowers, glued on the lace, resin flower & beads.I like to use liquid accents for my glue,I find it dries fast & holds.

Just dreamy gorgeous work. I have to agree that Maja Design papers are extraordinary to distress – thick, heavy papers are great to use.
