Hello,Rachelle here,I am here to share with you a couple LO’s I did using 2 of Maja Design’s amazing collections. The first one I used the beautiful Vintage Summer Basics,Oh, I can’t wait until I get the Spring!!!!

Out of this collection I used 1922,1923 &1946. I found this photo on a Romantic Shabby & vintage site,it is so beautiful & was so much fun to play with. The chipboard used (wordlet, chandelier & window) are from Scrap Fx & the blooms are from I am Roses ,here are some close ups of detail…..

As I do on all my LO’s I try to get my texture by using lots of layers, distressing & stitching…..fa1c2982-abbc-4bb4-83e2-8154dbc63f85_zps58fa6aba

The window was a huge door,so I cut it & made it into a window, then I used Prima’s brick mask and applied white picket fence crackle paint. Once that dried I used a paint brush and applied black orchid silver, let dry then rubbed in some chalk. I then glued it down on the LO,then applied a thick coat of rock candy crackle on the windows…..

When the crackle dried I rubbed on some yellow chalk to make it look like the sun was coming through the windows, then I glued on some seed beads. I also used white picket fence on the chandelier, then I used petal pink liquid pearls…..

I used a couple doily’s, ripped book pages (inspired by Gabbi) to take some of the squareness out of the LO. I also used lace & some ribbon in the cluster….

A close up of the photo & some of the detail on the LO….Now here is the next LO I did using the awesome Life by the Sea Collection, going from Vintage Shabby Chic straight into Nautical…..

I found this amazing photo on pininterest.Out of this collection I used East Coast,East Coast BS,Regatta BS,Sailing,Sailing BS,The West Coast,Marina & I also used lots of the backsides of the labels. This collection is perfect for this photo!!!The chipboard used on the LO is from Scrap Fx. Here are some close ups of detail…..

I also used metal letter’s,brads & buttons to bring out the cold in the photo……

I did my usual layers, distressing & stitching, but on this LO,I also rolled the paper, then stitched it into place.I used denim ink & white picket fence on the chipboard….

In this photo you see some of the rolled paper, the dark blue strip on the top is from the backside of the label of the paper,I also used them on the banners & through out the LO…….

I also did a bit of punch work & love playing with the string…….

I also used some mesh fabric & brads on this LO,I had lots of fun working on both of these LO’s,here is another LO I did  using Vintage Summer Basics Collection along with Vintage Winter playing with OUAS & CSI #63…..

Out of the Vintage Summer Basics I used 1933 bs,1943 bs,1912 bs,1909 & memories, out of the Vintage Winter I used Send A Postcard,Send a PostCard BS,Wishing You BS. Thank you so much for taking the time to look…..Rachelle
