Hello,I am here to share with you a LO I did using the beautiful “Life in the Country” Collection. I took the photo of Michelle in my garden……….
Out of this Collection I used, Strawberries with Ice, Summer Kitchen, In the Hammock, Read a Book, & Read a Book BS. The chipboard is from Scrap Fx. Here are some closeups of detail……..
For my circle,I first cut out triangles, distressed the edges, then put a dab of glue in the center of the triangle & placed them on to the circle. Once the glue dried I lifted the edges with my finger,so that you could see the layers, I then punched in eyelets, & weaved in white embroidery thread. My next step was to make my open circle, that I distressed, then punched in eyelets, then weaved in cheesecloth & pearls. .Once I completed that I glued it down to the main circle, then glued the circle on to a doily, then onto my already distressed stitched LO……
I love to work with Maja papers, they distress & layer so nicely. I made the banner by starting with a piece of lace, attached cloths pins, then punched out tiny flowers with some of the scraps I was working with. I glued the flowers to the banner & added pearls. The tiny white roses are from I am Roses………
I used picket fence crackle on the stem part of the flourish & on the flowers I used Shimmerz paints texturez (tidy widy),then added some bling………
I made the flowers out of some of the scraps I was working with using MFT die cuts….
I first used red pepper ink on the wordlet girl, then I applied distress fired brick stickles. Here is a LO I did for the Scrap Fx Blog Hop using Flannel Shirt bs from the “Walking in the Forest Collection”.
Here is another LO I did using the Beautiful” Crea Diem” Collection, playing with CSI #70
From this collection I used Av hela mitt hjarta, Fylid av karlek, Karlenken-bs, kann dig sjalv-bs, Ord flyger bort-bs, Ord Flyger Bort & some of the backsides of the labels. I did some paper weaving on this LO,so here is 1 close up of detail…….
The photo is a close up of one of my first spring blooming plants,a bleeding heart. Yes I am feeling a bit manic right now,I still have a lot of work to do to get my garden going, but I hope I will have all my spring clean up & planting done,by the time I make my next post. Thank you so much for taking the time to look……Rachelle

As always, I am struck with fascination and enchantment! : ) Always such lovely creations; FULL of inspiration and new ideas~ I recently purchased some Maja Design paper (for the first time) – It is of beautiful design and amazing quality, and I find so much help and inspiration (and motivation!) here at your blog~ Thank you~
Beautiful layouts, lovely DP and details and embellishments. Thanks for sharing.
I just love these layouts. I am so impressed by the Classic Beauty layout that really shows an alternative way to use the Walking In The Forest collection. The Life In The Country collection lies very close to my heart and that Country Girl layout truely capture the best from it. Love the Spring layout too. So unique and special.
All that I have come to love about your work when you use Maja papers. What an amazing pairing
Oh my goodness, Rachelle, your work always leaves me breathless! I think Classic Beauty has to be my favorite, the monochromatic coloring always gets me! Love your work hon! xo
I am speechless as always. What a masterpiece you have done.
My goodness, Rachelle…all of your designs are more amazing than the last! I adore each and every one of these…especially the way that you layer paper like there’s no tomorrow…I’m amazed that you have any left! Don’t get me wrong…the effect is fantastic! I would love to make my cards look like your layouts in miniature! Beautiful work!
