Hello Maja Design fans & friends!  Nancy Hanttula here, and I am back again to share a layout I created with the gorgeous new Vintage Autumn Basics collection.

Eden

This is my dear friend’s precious baby girl, Eden.  I knew when I saw the Vintage Autumn Basics gorgeous paper collection that they would be perfect to scrap some of my friend’s treasured photos.

Using a very small amount of hot glue, I shaped the pretty pink pearl strand into a looped border to add a dainty feminine touch.

Tip:  The key to using hot glue is that when you are finished with the project, use your heat tool to go over the entire piece.  This will melt all of the stray hot glue strands you may not even be able to see, into the project, leaving you with a flawless finish.

And because I am always looking at different ways to use my vast collection of crafting tools,  I love using my punches to create leaves for flowers.

Above you can see an example of how I used my Morrocan border punch from EK Success to create my leaves.  I simply punched out a border along the entire edge of Vintage Autumn Basics paper No. V, and cut each individual shape out to create my leaves.

The specific Vintage Autumn Basics papers used for this layout include:  No. VI, No. II, & No. V. Other “ingredients” used here:  K. Co. cardstock stickers, Disney pink lace border stickers, Prima & Petaloo flowers, Ad Tech hot glue gun and glue, feather from Queen & Co., white adhesive pearl dots from Melissa Frances, pink pearl strand from my stash, Tombow permanent adhesive, & the Morrocan border punch from EK Success.

Thanks for looking!  Be sure and stay tuned as I am sure you will be seeing a lot of gorgeous & inspirational projects from all of the spectacular designers here at Maja Design using the new Vintage Autumn Basics collection for some time to come!
