Hello,I am here to share with you a LO I did using the beautiful Vintage Summer Basics Collection…
My son asked me to do a LO as a engagement gift,so I told him he had to come up with the quote. That is where I got the crazy idea about the photo. I wasn’t sure if I liked it,but Erlendur does, so I left it this way.
Out of this collection I used:1921,1922,1933,1899,1926 & some of the BS’s of the labels. I also used Days to remember out of the Vintage Spring Basics Collection. The chipboard is from Scrap Fx. Here are some close ups of detail….
I used a dark brown cardstock in my layers,& a charcoal brown tread for my stitching,to bring out the layers. On the wordlet I used picket fence crackle & once that dried I rubbed in brown chalk, then inked the edges….
I used walnut stain on the scribble heart. I then made a layered heart to go inside of the scribble. I laced the heart together, with the thought that two become one….
This photo shows some of the layers, &where I used some of the BS’s of the labels….
I used rock candy crackle on the foliage, that I cut from a die from MFT. Once the crackle dried I rubbed in brown chalk, then inked the edges…
Thank you so much for taking the time to look…..Rachelle
