Hi! This will be my first week at Maja Design. I am so proud and happy to become one of their creative team member for this month! Thank you so much again to Maja Designs for inviting me.

This is what I made for this week….
The size is small, 6 x 6 inches, but love how this small layout turned out with all the soft colors! And this it even looks more good with it inside the frame.

I used the Vintage Summer Basics Collection for my layout. I just love all the shabby chic with the beautiful flowers and wood designs of the paper. Even the frame is made out of Maja Design’s paper! (Memories)IMG_0085Here are some close ups of my layout.IMG_0165

You can see how I put layers of cut out flowers between and made them pop up a little.IMG_0172 IMG_0179IMG_0181

And here is a little tip from me.

Since the flowers have very soft colors, I think the flower design will pop up more when you ink the edges.IMG_0316

By this you can use blue or turquoise. Maybe brown if you want to have a more vintage look. But I prefer something that is close to blue if you want to have a shabby chic look on your project.IMG_0320You can put these flowers between your photo like how I did below.IMG_0322Vintage-Summer-Basics-P1Maja Design Vintage Summer Basics

Tomoko, this layout is GORGEOUS! I love how you’ve altered the papers (and even the little fussy-cut flowers) to give them your signature look! Absolutely beautiful!!
