Out of this collection I used,3rd of April,3rd of April BS,6th of March,6th of March BS,7th of March BS,5th of April BS,6th of May, & Days to Remember…..the chipboard is from Scrap Fx. Here are some close ups of detail………

I did a lot of distressed layers in the heart & some stitching. Where I placed the scribble heart I used rock candy crackle,& on the outside of the heart I used, picket fence crackle, then rubbed in brown chalk, & glued down my repeated words. Once I glued down the scribble heart,I glued seed beads in the heart.. On all the chipboard pieces, I used picket fence crackle, rubbed in brown chalk, then inked the edges…..

I rolled up the corner & strips of paper, then punched in eyelets & tied the rolls with hemp. I glued the paper heart on to a scrap, I was working with, then put liquid accents in the holes & rock candy crackle on the solid. When that dried I rubbed in some blue & brown chalk into the crackle. I then glued down pieces of cheese cloth & pearl flourishes under the heart. I made the rolled flowers out of some of the scraps I was working with……

Absolutely mind-blowing , Rachelle!! Unbelievable how you can add so many accents and layers and have everything turn out exactly perfect! Your projects are such a delight to the eyes…I can’t get over the effect of the layering…it almost looks like there are, like, 50 pieces of paper stacked! It’s beautiful! And I have to say that the stitching is amazing, too…I’m assuming it’s all hand done, and of course, it really adds to the appeal of your projects. Simply gorgeous. All. of. them.
