Morning Maja friends! I think it’s safe to say that we’ve all been treated to some glorious Sofiero inspiration lately…the projects that I’ve seen here on the blog and out in ‘inner’ space have been beyond inspirational! I’m going to try to keep the party going with my own take on the Sofiero Limited Edition papers…first though, I have to say that I had the hardest time cutting into my first piece…Oooh, do you know the feeling of cutting into something you absolutely love and knowing that when it’s gone there’s no more? I conferred with Ivana and she felt the same way! However, I did ‘bite the bullet’ and cut into them. This is what I have to show for it:
Along with some authentic vintage lace, crinkled, aged seam binding and some chipboard accents, this card uses Princess Margareta’s Garden paper. I roughed up the edges and added a bit of aging with some Antique Linen Distress ink. There’s some coarse glitter spinkled on the scalloped oval and the heart was actually a chipboard flower that I cut in thirds and a heart design was left.
Here’s a few other projects using the Sofiero collection of papers:
This card above features Strolling down the Rose path, Enjoying the fragrance-bs, Princess Margareta’s Garden, a Romantic picnic in the Park-bs, The elegant Wine house papers.
This tag was made with a Romantic picnic in the Park-bs.
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you’re gleaning some wonderful inspiration from this collection!
