Hello Maja Friends. Elena has come back and today I want to share a Layout made with New Vintage Spring Basics Collection and a little tutorial on how to create the layers and use some of your leftovers.

To start with you need to tear a wide strip of paper

Make some cutting on the paper and distress them on the edges

Tut1

Place this paper piece on the patterned paper. You can add more distressing to the edges if you wish. Glue it to the background just in the middle. It allows you to add some embellishments under the strip during your next steps.

For the next step I took some leftovers from the previous projects and started making a padding for my photo. I am a savvy scrapper so I keep almost all of them. This time I used some pieces left from the roses I made using Spellbinders dies.

I like that some petals silhouette are still visible and thought that it is a great idea to make a framing on the photo with them.

tut3 Cut some of the parts of paper and place them over and there under the photo. Put some pieces into the torn area as well.

tut4 I added some leaves and a flowers just to see where the main embellishments would be. and then I started applying some gesso with a sponge, to soften the look of my background.

Then I misted these gessoed areas and added some stamping. Placed some embellishments and here you are ready with multi   layered project:

I put 2Crafty chipboard and flowers into the torn aperture:

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial and will use some of your leftovers too.
