Good day to all Maja Friends. Elena is here to share some new project with you. Well, Christmas holidays have passed, but I am sure you have many photos taken during this wonderful time . And of course, Mini album is the best decision to keep those memories.
Maja Design has so many Christmas/Winter collections to try, that it was a dilemma for me which one to choose. Anyway I decided to combine some of them as they complement each other quite well.
I used Acrylic Binder from Clear Scraps as I wanted to keep transparency effect as long as the icy look too
I have cut the running children from Ringdans paper of Fröjdefull Jul collection and made some fussy cutting of Vines from Julbukett paper. and surely my signature – some stamping and acrylic paints on the cover
I place all the photos on the acrylic pages that were colored using the stencils and acrylic paint with mica. I love the idea that you can see the next page through the acrilic too and it adds extra decoration to it as well.
I left some pages without photos, as I ‘m going to present it to my Mum and she will add the photos herself or will make some notes on the papers. That is why I resisted the desire to add some textured elements and left just stamping and a small amount of modeling paste.
I wanted to choose just red -white colors but I didn’t noticed how I have added pink and peach colors, but I suppose the result is quite amazing
The stripes and the dots – really cute, isn’t it?
You know, after I cut my backgrounds papers I had many leftovers and I decided to use them as decorations for my pages. Some of them were torn into thin stripes
and finally the last pages
What a great mixture of colors, though it is a boy page
and some close ups on my techniques
and for the back page I used Gammaldags Jul Collection and its Tradition Paper
I hope you have enjoyed my Mini Album and during the week end you will pick up your favourite Christmas photos and will choose your Winter collection to coordinate them.

This is beyond cool! I just love how you’ve used these Christmas papers with pink and peach. Not the first thing that comes to my mind, but the effect is stunning! Love the acryllic pages too. This is so inspiring.
