Hello, I am here to share with you a LO I did using the Beautiful,Walking in the Forest Collection. The photo is of my oldest son Sigurdur. Walking-in-the-forest-PFrom this Collection I used, Mountain Ash BS, When Leaves are Falling,Maple,Last Flowers BS, Knitted Sweater, Die Cut Letters BS, Die Cut Sheets & lots of the BS of the labels. I did my usual distressing, but I also inked all the edges with Tattered Angels Chalkboard (Decadence) using a paint brush…..c165d097-a424-4374-84c9-51b77ce628d0_zps3bab437b

I used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo on the Cogs & Circle, then inked the edges. I then glued the cog on to a piece of paper & applied a thick coat of rock candy crackle, & when that dried I used a paint brush & applied some TA Chalkboard (decadence to bring out the cracks. I used Tim Holtz adirondack alcohol ink (sunset orange) on the steampunk clock face & leaves. I also applied rock candy crackle on to the leaves & when that dried I played with different colors of chalk to get the color I wanted……31a4aed2-6af1-4f13-8caa-a6f97bc2d200_zpsc6246437

I used vintage photo stain & tattered angels decadence on the frame,then glued on some jb selections metallic gunmetal beads,I also used vintage photo stain on the seaweed stem….3f2890dd-a513-462d-9934-9068ac4c974f_zps3351772b

The bottom photo is where I put my Title (Autumn). I first stained it with vintage photo stain,then I applied crackle, & when that dried I rubbed in different shades of brown & inked the edges.     This is one of the most beautiful double layouts I’ve seen. I love the way you cut it into three so it feels like a folded card. Such amazing details. Beautiful!

  • Incredible double…I have never seen one that looks like this…they look like they should be framed together and displayed on the wall…just gorgeous and he is too adorable…and this is uncanny because my son looks so much like him!
