Hello sweet Maja Fans,

Lenet here and today I bring you this card.

I made this card using the 15×15 paper pad of the gorgeous new collection Tropical Garden.

I just love this new collection it’s fresh and different but still a typical Maja Design.

As you see I did some fuzzy cutting with the Exotic Plants sheet from the 12×12 papers of this collection.

The Birds and the sentiment are from the diecut sheet

I used some foamtape to stich it all together in place to create some depth

The chipboard piece I used is one piece of the Lattice Pieces from Scrapaholics , I decided nto leave the color like it is to match the leaves of the design on the background paper.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

I’m so excited to bring you my first inspiration featuring the latest Tropical Garden collection 🙂 It’s so unique among the Maja papers and yet keeping the same vintage romantic style so characteristic of the brand 🙂 It will be a perfect match for your summer projects, albums or cards even when they’re not about the tropical escape – just take a look at my page:

Since the closest tropical paradise is thoushands of kilometres from where we live, I just used a photo of our local park with chestnut trees blooming 😉 And then tranfsormed it a bit with luscious flower bouquets that I cut out of one of the papers. I added some die-cut leaves too, and paper flowers to make the “jungle” even richer. These elements also helped me to cover the people who invaded my photo 😀

I used cardstock stickers for the title and journaling pieces and attached cotton string to act as lianas:

The signature strips for the collection contain some sentiments ready to use for your cards, but I also included one in my page, cutting off the unnecessary “Wishing you” 🙂

And so as you can see, it’s enough to use your imagination and create a paradise wherever you are!

Hello, Jennifer Snyder here today to show you a gorgeous new collection from Maja Design. Introducing Tropical Garden.

This collection has the most soothing, peaceful images and colors to bring you to that tranquil place in your imagination. The lush bird and floral images are magnificent. This collection is meant to be shared in projects for friends and family.

This collection is truly jaw dropping and a “must have”. The warm pinks and soft buttercup yellow paired with that rich deep purple is one of my favorite color combinations.

I created two cards today to share the beauty of the new Tropical Garden collection. The dies and stamp sets are also new collections from Spellbinders. The heartfelt sentiments from the collection are perfect for such a gorgeous collection.

Time for Coffee Card

Hello Maja Friends,

I’ve a new card to share with you today

Though I am not a coffee addicted person, I am more a tea -lover, however I enjoy creating something with coffee and desserts theme.

well, as you may have noticed I started with fussy cutting the images of a lady, a coffee pot and a few flower bouquets.

I like the berry palette this collection – Little Street Cafe has- and it gives so many opportunities to create with.

Shadowbox Frame For Mom

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

Probably most of you have already celebrated Mother’s Day, but in Poland it’s on the 26th of May, so I’m still waiting 😉 And being in the celebration mood I created a shadowbox frame that would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift:

The base for my shadowbox is a half of the box of certain purple pralines 😉 I first attached chain and a tassel with brads before I covered the whole frame with Denim&Girls papers:

I layered the papers in the background and hand cut some decorative tags:

Other embellishments include a large rose, some acrylic gems, metal and chipboard pieces. I also stamped, coloured, cut out and arranged a layered magnolia flowers clusters:

I’m really happy how this frame turned out, and how Maja papers provided a perfect background for this beautiful photo. I didn’t use a ton of embellishments, but arranging them in dimensional layers resulted in a rich and bold design.
