Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today šŸ™‚

On March 8th many countries celebrated International Women’s Day and so today I bring you two feminine cards šŸ™‚

I think what many women most long for are the feelings of being encouraged, supported or appreciated, therefore I created cards using some nice sentiments to express those:

I made the card using the Little Street Cafe collection as it is very feminine and romantic, yet without too much sugary pink šŸ˜‰ For the first card I layered papers to create a subtly patterned background for a die-cut dream catcher decorated with pearls, feathers and flowers. I added teh sentiments that say: “Believe in yourself” and “You can achieve anything!”:

The other card includes a message of appreciation with the stamped sentiment “You are great”. I decorated the card with various papers layered in the background and an image of a lady sitting in a little street cafe šŸ™‚ I embellished the card with sweethart flowers, acrylic gems and some leaves die-cut from vellum:

Being a woman, I would be really happy to receive such cards – would you? šŸ™‚

And here’s what I used for the cards:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Spellbinders, CreaLies, Agateria; stamps: Agateria; flowers: Wild Orchid Creafts; gems: Prima.

That is all for today, thank you for visiting and see you later!

Hello.Ā  Jennifer Snyder here sharing a large shaker tag made for my granddaughter to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.Ā  She’s 9 months old and this is her first St. Patrick’s Day – which happens to be a big deal in my household because my husband is in a band that features Irish music for the local pubs in New York, where we live.

This is my interpretation of “baby Irish” – using Maja Design’s classic Fika collection, still my favorite collection for it’s rich chocolate browns, , creams, greens and purples.Ā  Just thinking about it makes me feel like a chocolaty treat.

Here are the images and papers I used from the collection:Ā Chokadmuffins, Favoriter, Apple, KƤrleksmums

Now then, don’t those beautiful paper images don’t make you hungry? Yum.

Here is a close up of the beautiful papers and the chipboard teddy bear shaker from Creative Embellishments.Ā  It’s filled with shaker mix from Buttons Galore, to help make the shaker “come to life”.Ā  The shaker mix adds that “bit’o lucky charm”, as my husband would say.

Thank you for stopping here today.Ā  Enjoy.

Ā Goodmorning Lovely Maja Design Fans,

Today it’s my turn again on this lovely blog and this time I’d like to share a steampunk layout. On the picture you seeĀ  my handsome husband with our tiny little girly in the shower. I don’t know why I assosiate black with steampunk but I do, I used one of the darkest pages Maja Design offers to make this layout. The papers are distressed and I added a Finnabair stencil on it and a script stamp.

When I could choose my Guest Designer Package I was focussed on the black lace, flowers, butterflies and chunky glitter glass and went around that creating my layout. The beautiful boards are treated with some different mediums…I used Finnabair rust effect paste, waxes and black gesso on some of them and on the other pieces I used some lindy’s sprays and a script stamp.

I think the pretty hinges are so cool to used they are very detailed and I have to tell you I am a sucker for chipboards like that kind of steampunk stylish. For me this layout is kind of clean and simple and that is sometimes nice to make as well if I had more flowers I would have added them all lol….

I have tucked the lace in the rips that I made in the papers I always wanted to try that but I never did…To finish my layout I added some amazing black chunky glitter glass and I also added some rub-on words.

Maja Design papers used: Celebration: Ephemera bs & Vintage Summer Basics 1912 bs.

Ā Ā

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and I hope I have inspired you to create and show us your beautiful art you can always share your work here:Ā Maja Design Facebook pageĀ and I if you like the products I worked with please visitĀ here!

Have a wonderful day & stay safe hugs!

I love winter but shure love spring with with its nature awaking and longer daylight.

Without further ado here is my layout.

as a christmas gift I got th button maker from We”r Memory makers . I really love it!,

The dark red flower is made by me too.

some more selfmade flowers andĀ  again a self made buttonĀ  using theĀ  design papers. So coll you have always a matching embellie.

I made some snow with Gesso, glitter and mica flakes. The gorgeous chipboard swirl is from Dusty Attic.

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog!

Today I bring you another love inspiration – though not about a romantic love, yet all the same beautiful šŸ™‚

I made the layout using the Holiday in the Alps collection. I first applied heart garland pattern upon the background paper and then arranged the matting cluster of layered papers, hand cut tags and filigree chipboard doilies.

I added roses, a clock button and chipboard key and title word embossed with gold ep.

I finished my page off with metallic red pearls and matte gold sequins.

Here’s the list of my supplies:

Maja Desgin papers:

Other: stencil, chipboard pieces: Agateria; glitter paste: Pentart; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; punch: DP Craft; button: Prosvet.

I really like how the layout turned out, bright and cheerful, and I really how the versatility of Maja papers which can be used for various themes regardless of the collection theme!

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!
