Hohoho Merry Christmas to all you Maja fans!

First I want to wish you all the very best for the upcoming holidays .

This will be my last post for this year and hope to see you all back  in the new  year .

I love to decorate my home  at christmas time  and make some decorations myself.

I made this banner using my favorite Christmas colors red and white from the new Christmas collection ,Holiday in the Alps and the monochromes of Holiday in the Alps.

I used a lot of shimmer and glitter , but with the dark and grey days at the moment and using artificial light it’s hard to catch it at the picture.

The letters , rosettes and lace-snowflakes are all treated with nuvo glitter accents.

Thank you for visiting , happy holidays and hope I see you back next year.

Christmas Album

Good morning, dear Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today!

It’s Christmas time! The most wonderful time of the year, filled with joy and love (or at least, it should be). In the evening many of us will sit at the table with their loved ones to celebrate Christmas Eve, go to church at midnight for the Holy Mass of Christ’s Birth, enjoy presents and sing carols 🙂

And so in anticipation of those beautiful moments I created an album for photos that will preserve precious memories:

I used a ready made album base and decorated it with papers from the Holiday In The Alps collection. I first applied a stencil pattern on the linen cover and then used pieces of papers and added a flower cluster:

At first I was going to decorate the front cover and just layer some papers on the accordion-joined pages inside and decorate them in detail when the photos come, but then I just got carried away… 🙂 The elements on each page are slightly raised so that I can slide in photos later.

I really love the way it turned out and can’t wait to fill it with family Christmas photos!

Here’s what I used:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Craft&You Design, Magnolia, Spellbinders, Sizzix; metal embellishments: Mitform; button: Scrap.com.pl; ribbon: Dovecraft; glitter: Nuvo; sequins, cheesecloth, string – my stash.

And since this is my last post this year, I want to wish you the happiest Christmas, blessed with joy and peace and all the best in the New Year!

Christmas Home Decor Shadow Box

Jennifer Snyder here to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday Season.  Today I am presenting a holiday home decor that has been made more extraordinary by using Maja Design paper and a few embellishments

I’m finishing the decorating and last minute Christmas gifts.  I picked up an inexpensive piece on clearance and flipped it around to use the other side.   Scroll down to see the before and after comparison.
Here is my process from start to end.
I used the Maja Design, Holiday in the Alps 12×12 paper collection for the background of this piece.  The images and patterns in this paper collection are so peaceful and present a calm winter’s night.
These are the papers used:
Christmas Day
Winter Night
A little more about this piece and how it started.  Below is the image of the original home decor seasonal plaque.  Everything is on clearance this time of year and who doesn’t love a Christmas clearance section in the store!  The great thing about the plaque is that it is very deep and thick to make for a perfect shadow box when turned around to the backside.   These are things I think about when shopping.  It may look like Christmas today, but can this be painted and altered for use as a summer project?   If possible and inexpensive, then in the shopping cart it goes.
With a little glue, my gorgeous Maja design papers, and some other fabulous products,  it gets a total makeover.
Thank you for stopping here and Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and peaceful 2020.

Hi everyone! Here I am with a heart shaped Christmas card using gorgeous papers from the collection called Vintage Frost Basics.

I have cut out all the dies from the pattern papers. Here you can see tones, music stand and postmarks. I have coloured the Magnolia image to match with the papers in blue and brown.

For the postmarks I have used the sheet called 2nd of December.

And here is the music stand. I have added a little angel above.

I really enjoyed making this card, using some of my favourite colours, and adding the notes around the singing image. The image is coloured using Distress inks for my painting. I have also added some Fran-tage around the image, so it looks like the snow which is falling down. So I wish for a white Christmas.

Have you seen the new collection from MajaDesign? It is called Little street Cafe.

I have made some products with these papers lately, and here is my first. A birthday tag.

I love the fun colours, they just make me smile, like this image here.

Here I have used: Tea please, Something sweet and Delisious.

Thank you so much for visting the MajaDesign blog!

With love,
