Thank you for stopping.
On the meadows
0 Write a commentWelcome!
Today a new inspiration layout in a romantic summer mood.
Midsummer is already over, but that always reminds me of how we as children walked over flowering meadows
and picked and collected all kinds of things.
We girls have always loved to weave flower wreaths, mostly from daisies or white clover.
I used some papers from our latest wonderful paper collection ‘Denim and Girls’
‘Easy Going’; ‘Lace’; ‘Comfy bs’
‘
some close up’s

Summer greetings
2 Write a commentHi everyone! I am back with a Summer card for you. I really hope you are enjoying the Summer. Here in Norway it is raining at the moment. And I wish for some sunny days.
The image from Magnolia is coloured with Distress Ink, on water colour paper. I use a paper called Bockingford 300g. It has a really smooth surface which is perfect for the Distresses. Can you spot which papers I have used? Yes, it is the lovely Denim & Girls papers!
I have cut out the flowers from those papers, ofcourse! Then using dies from Magnolia. I cut out the flowers, then I spray the paper with water, curl them up, and let them to dry. Then you get the crunchy look. I also paint over them with white Gesso.
Under you get a better look of how the card is built up.
And those gorgeous flowers.
Thank you so much for visiting the Maja Design blog!
With love,
Summertime by the Sea
2 Write a commentHello Maja Design Fans, hope you are enjoying your Summertime, as I do
I am looking forward to my vacation by the Sea, and reviewing the pictures taken past Summer.
I did some fussy cutting from the papers Summertime collection. I like it has the florals and marine theme papers.
I also used the die cut frames to create the place for my 3 photo cards and made some coloring on the background
I’ve added only 2 flowers as the embellishments. The papers are great to create your own embellishments , I like especially the bicycles.
