Hello Maja fans!

Today, I would like to share a new layout made for my July inspiration using papers from the gorgeous ”Vintage Summer Basics” collection. As usual, I’ve also used 49 and Market flowers, Dusty Attic chipboard and Finnabair moulds to embellish my page and achieve a romantic and elegant feeling.

As always, I found my photo on Pinterest and before I continue more I want to give all the proper credits to the ”unknown” photographer.

I used the ”Minnen” paper and made several layers behide my photo with the cards from the back side of the same paper. To start, I applied a coat of clear gesso and then, I created texture with the Finnabair Frosty Pearl icing paste and a stencil. When the paste dried, I used the Lindy’s Gang Sea Grass Green spray to add color.

Next, I heat embossed the chipboards with the Stampendous Aged Ivory embossing enamel.

Then, I layered all the gorgeous elements around my photo and added in some 49 and Market flowers.

Papers used:

I hope you enjoyed my project!

Until next time happy crafting!

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a Christmas post today? I have made some Christmas cards, and I will show you them in my next coming posts. I know it’s a bit early, but Christmas is coming before you know it 🙂 I have used some gorgeous papers from the collection called Home for the Holidays.

The card is actually made with a coffee filter. And I have decorated the sides with christmassy Maja papers.

The image is coloured with Distress Inks, to match the colours of the papers.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the image and text, plus dies are from Magnolia. I have added some corrugated paper and cheese cloth behind the image. Behind the flowers I have added sisal gras.

Under you get a sneak peek of the cards to come 😉 I have made a serie with Home for the Holidays papers and coffee filters. Hope it inspires you!

Here are the papers used:

Thank you so much for visiting the blog today!

Hello, our blog fans. Today I would like to present cards created with the Denim&Girls Collection. I really enjoyed working with the previous collection. Thanks to this one, you are able to create pastel and delicate cards.

You dont need to use many add-ons. I made a backgroud with the stencil and some paste, added chipboards from Scrapiniec and  paper flowers. I combine the Denim&Friends Collection and some of the die-cut elements from Sofiero. It fits perfectly! Hope you will like my project. Hugs, Paulina

Hello sweet Maja fans Lenet here and today I bring you this Layout with lots of hydrangea.

I really love hydrangea, I have a big pink one in my backyard and planted a white one as well, hope it will grow very big too.

In my frontyard I have a white one with big balls of tiny white flowers.

I own a lot of hydrangea flowers from prima marketing and wanted to really start using them so I decided to make this lay out filled with hydrangea.

I also wanted to use some real nature thing in it so I went out to my garden and gathered some old little branches and plants that i had put aside for the birds to use building their nests, sorry birdies but I will refill soon. It’s fun to use natural things  like this on your layout so I might go use it more often.

I made some tears on the edges of the toplayer, distressed them so you can see the paper underneath and made stitches by hand on each side of it.

I also tucked some pink dried baby’s breath between the flowers, I love this delicate little flower .

I always keep and dry them when I get those in a bouquet

For this layout I used the  vintage summer basics collection.

Thank you for visiting ,I hope you like my layout this time and I hope I gave you some inspiration.

Make shure to come back to take a look at the work the other Maja Girls made for you.

Rustic Glam – A Patchwork Card

Good morning, Maja Friends, welcome to the blog today 🙂

If you have seen my last post tehn you’ve seen the reason for today’s post too 🙂 Previously I shared two birthday card for a boy and a girl, in which I used – among others, of course – the Paisley bs and Loose fit bs papers. I was then left with pieces too small to be used for card panels, but still too large to be thrown away – I think you know what I mean 🙂 And so I punched a couple of squares and used them to make a patchwork background for a rustic flowery card:

I basically followed the colour palette of the Denim&Girls collection – pink, blue and navy blue – to which I added a touch of gold and a bit of glam with pearl cardstock, gold embossing powder and iridescent sequins:

I placed the stamped and embossed sentiment in the centre and matted it with die-cut doily and flower clusters.

It beautifully glimmers against the light:

And I really love how it turned out – rustic and simple yet glamorous and elegant. What do you think?

For the card I used the following products:

Maja Design papers:

Other: dies: Cheery Lynn Designs, Sizzix, CreaLies; stamp: Latarnia Morska; flowers: Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts; punch: dpCraft, sequins: my stash.

That’s all for today, thank you for visiting and see you soon!
